Villa Sati Ubud

Bed room & En-Suite Bathroom

Across the courtyard is the northern pavilion with a hovering intricately thatched roof. Sliding glass doors lead straight from the pool deck into the spacious air-conditioned bed room furnished with a canopied queen-sized bed. A customized-made teak fitted wardrobe homes a private secure deposit box. The inviting decor, with its merbau ground bordered by black stone has a luminous deep purple wall which is interrupted by recessed lighting niches. It’s enlivened by five shimmering golden paintings by a local Ubud artist. The elegant furnishings also embody cushioned water-hyacinth chairs and a desk where your breakfast will be served. Stereo audio system carry music from the sound system in the dwelling room.

The en-suite open-air lavatory is a thrilling counterpoint. It’s dominated by an over-sized Jacuzzi bathtub beneath a flowered pergola of cascading thunbergia, bordered by thriving yellow bamboo, orchids, ferns and elephant ears. The washbasin is hand-sculpted from pure river stone, and the bathe is contained within a spacious glass cubicle. As all through Villa Sati, colourful unique art work enhances the experience.

Residing & Dining Room

The air-conditioned downstairs living-dining room has merbau wooden flooring with stone borders, and contemporary upholstered furnishings of teak wooden and rattan. Small bronze statues and artefacts reflect the serene atmosphere of Villa Sati. The desk overlooks the rice fields as does the eating desk, which is set in its own bay window; the cushioned bench seat invitations lounging, studying, chicken-watching or daydreaming. A teak unit homes a multi-channel satellite flat display screen TV, DVD participant and quality sound system. The DVD library offers a big selection for film viewing.

Upstairs Convertible Loft

A merbau picket staircase rises from the living room to a comfy air-conditioned loft room that serves as a sitting/examine room.
